Austin Dressage Unlimited - USDF University Scholars

Austin Dressage Unlimited would like to recognize and honor our members who have achieved academic milestones in their dressage education, by earning USDF Certificates and Diplomas from USDF University. By earning this distinction, our members have proven their dedication to a lifetime of learning.

As recognition for these prestigious achievements, ADU Members who have earned their USDF University Certificate or Diplomas during the current year will receive a special recognition award from ADU to commemorate their achievement.

General Information:

  • Recognition for USDF Certificate or Diploma achievement will be awarded at the annual ADU Year-End Celebration Party.
  • In addition, inductees names will be permanently listed as ADU-USDF University Scholars on the ADU website.
  • Rider must be officially listed with USDF as having earned a USDF-University Certificate or Diploma.
  • Member must contact the ADU Special Projects Team to notify them of eligibility, request the recognition award, and let the Team know that they plan to attend the annual ADU Year-End Celebration Party to receive their award.

USDF created the USDF University to set a standard for individual lifetime achievement in dressage education. It is a 7-tiered award ladder for scholastic accomplishment. Through this program, USDF recognizes those members who strive to continue their education in dressage and related equine subjects. The USDF University program is open to all current participating, group, and intercollegiate/interscholastic members.

USDF AWARD RECOGNITION

Educational recognition is awarded as follows:
  • 15 credits – USDF Certificate
  • 30 credits – USDF Diploma
  • 45 credits – USDF Bronze Diploma
  • 60 credits – USDF Silver Diploma
  • 75 credits – USDF Gold Diploma
  • 90 credits – USDF Platinum Diploma
  • 105 credits – USDF Diamond Diploma
